Light winds in variable directions in the area we toured turning to moderate as we were leaving for the day. Scattered cloud cover. No precip

Snowpack

Dug a pit in prep for a Pro 1 Course. Found a generally stable right side up snowpack with soft snow near the surface and snow getting generally stronger the further we dug down. Layer of concern is facets near the ground (bottom 25cm of snowpack). Generally they were stiff and starting to gain strength and round. Results were CT6 SP @ top of facets 25cm from the ground, ECTX, PSTX
