another miserable bluebird day in colorado ... calm winds, clear skies with temps warming into mid 20s by early afternoon.

Snowpack

dug pit on 30° N aspect @ 10500' BTL. HS 235 cm. two CTs .. both CTN. one ECTX. repeated loading and reefing on all test columns yielded reluctant failures ~ 30 cm down on 1F (wind?) slab

one soft slab run-out noticed on steep, rocky W aspect @ approx 10700' ... guessing day prior? other than that, no avy activity noticed. no woomphs or cracks observed.
