Weather
Partly cloudy most of the day. Slightly below freezing. Winds ranging from 5 to 30 miles per hour all day wind was higher at higher elevations.
Snowpack
Mostly good on s and sw facing aspects. On slightly wind loaded slopes which were more south facing had soft 2-3 in snow over a sun crust. On Westerly facing slopes better snow with the crust being less prevalent.
Avalanche
One avalanche witnessed likely from the last storm cycle. See photo. The avalanche is on the east face coming off a nne ridge of Parnassus. You can see the urad mine's tailings pond in the photo.
