Weather

Clear and mostly calm with moderate blowing snow on the high ridges throughout the day. A cold start lead to comfortable temperatures mid-day.

Snowpack

@ 11,700 -1230pm on South East Slope (134*) Height of Snow: 115cm - consisted of mostly storm snow with 10cm of facets at the ground. Cracking and collapsing observed in the area. Surface snow is denser in the top 10cm due to wind loading from recent Northerly winds. +3*C air temp at 11,700ft (1230) -5*C air temp at 10,400ft at (1500)

Avalanche

Several avalanches that appeared to be no larger than D2. These avalanches tended to start in cross-loaded alpine terrain, although few were observed BTL. Observed on W-N-E.
