The area received steady snowfall all last week and conditions have been generally "good spring conditions" with parties successfully ascending Mt. Toll to descend the southern face (classic line). Temps were cool enough early in the week to actually provide spring powder. Last week put down a lot of new snow. The day the evidence of slides was observed the weather in the main parking lot was low 30's. It was a bit breezy and cooler where the observation took place but was warming extremely quickly: the track down had turned to peanut butter by the time I descended.

Observed evidence of two avalances: #1: 40.0880248, -105.6141946 at approximately 11,250 ft. Two slides running about 500 ft (estimated). Southern aspect. #2: 40.0893261, -105.6099457 at roughly the same elevation. Cornice broke over a small cliff band. Eastern aspect
