Sidecountry Lake Louise

Skied west bowl, richardson ridge, finger chutes the past 2 days. Column tests each day failed on presumed dec 31 crust, 4 and 6 strikes medium range respectively. Could not collapse the basal layer. Did remote trigger an unsettling sz 1(?) soft snow approaching a windloaded area above finger chutes. 8cm deep, 25m across. Otherwise, midpack felt firm most places. Snow on top was blower or wind affected. Tiny touch of suncrust. Pretty great skiing.
