Hero's Knob

We rode the Hero's Knob. No signs of instabilities. Temperature was -12 @ 11 am at the trailhead. Saw some older avalanches sz. 1.5 - 2 on NE & E aspects in steep alpine terrain, that appeared to be cross-loaded. Beautiful day out, no wind, sunny skies. Even though it warmed up a bit, temperatures remained below freezing all day. We found few powder turns, the rest was wind affected grabby snow, overall ski quality OK, but amazing day out.
