auto: Quick Report

Sunny day once above cloud cover with occasional cloud masking the sun. Ambient air temp measured in direct sunlight was 2.5 degrees in the alpine. Some melt could be observed from trees shedding their snow. Some snowballing, difficult to tell if it was from trees or cliffs, no pinwheeling. Ski pen was approx 5 to 10cm on the up track. Very supportive. No signs of instability were detected. The ride down was silky smooth with only a short section of old debris protruding through the surface (Christmas slide remnants?) The alpine bowl of the slide path was slightly wind affected. HS 170 Alpine HS 170 treeline.
