Quick split tour. Started assent at 1600m and descent at 1800m. Didn’t observe any melting. Was on a SSE aspect. Had the odd squall otherwise weather was calm. Snow depth at 1750m was 1.4m. Hard layers at 30cm and at 90cm. Saw a few new trees had fallen recently.
