Great 1st tour of the year! Skinned up from Gorby parking on hard crust. One lap down north aspect towards 2001 and then down eastern aspect into fish bowl. No avalanche observations. Dug a quick pit on north aspect at 1711m. HS 140cm, 13cm 4F on 7cm thick P Dec 22 crust, 1F mid pack down 61cm to 14cm K Dec 7 crust. CTH 29BRK down 20cm below the Dec 22 crust.
