This pit was dug near the Dave Henry Hut in the Park Bowl. NNE Aspect, elevation 2040. Snow depth 2 m. Many heavily wind affected areas. Some areas had a light sun crust. Top 10-15 cm was lightly consolidated. This failed after 3-4 elbow swings. Anything below that was very well consolidated. Could not get the column to fail. Nice turns to be had. Large cornices observed in the area. Avalanche debris was observed o the South Ridge Size 1-2,
