Beautiful day with fog & clouds clearing & re-emerging. Snowpack 100cm deep. CTM19 @ 70cm in facets. No wind & no signs of wind loading with ~30-40cm of powder at the top of the snowpack. Ski-out from Taylor Lake is in good shape, minimal sharks.

Dug a pit on a 30 degree slope north aspect near Taylor Lake, below Bell Couloir. 100cm deep. Top ~30-40cm was all nice powder; ~40cm from top was a crusty layer that was up to 10cm thick; below that was mostly facets. Compression test resulted in failure at CTM19, failing 70cm from the top in the facets.
