slabs hoars crusts

found some big preserved hoar and lots of fragments under storm slab on N facing ridgetop drift (see photo) reactive to touring above on unsupported feature. ski cut two 1.5's on a crossloaded SE aspect. wind slab from the storm going on suncrust/hardslab. consistent lichen blown on the crust bed surface telltale of warm and windy times. deep persistent was still on the mind so we also avoided thin faceted S SW start zones.
