Mtn Mandela Day 2 of 3

Day 2 of 3 was a sled day. Low Vis kept us off the higher elevation slopes and should have kept me off of this pitch (picture of slide) that to no surprise, released as I was schrelping this side hill and turned out through the soft slab/loose slab. After yesterday's results and 10cm fresh over night we wanted to keep off open steep exposed slopes but due to low. light I stumbled into this carelessly. The snow had began to settle and show signs of cohession. Something I will be watching very closely tomorrow. Check the batteries in your transceiver and practice putting your shovel and probe together you may need them.
