First lap at Gypsum was the steeper chutes facing the smith dorrien. There was a firm crust down approx. 25cm. The snow sluffed off steeper features and ran 20-30m. A small crown was present where the sluff released (approx 15-20cm crown). We elected to go ski mellower terrain after the first lap. Got a fair bit of whumping and settlement when setting a fresh skin track.
