First skier in a group of 4 triggered a wind slab avalanche in the Co-pilot area, 1600m of elevation, north facing aspect. The skier was carried a few meters and was partially buried up to the knees. Self extricated. No injuries. The initial release sympathetically triggered an adjacent slab. Estimated size of both avalanches 1.5. Crown depth estimated at around 40cm.
