Scoured

Where's all the snow we were supposed to be getting this week? Apparently it's all gone, scoured hard by some serious wind in the alpine the last couple days. Temps also got above zero below tree line forming a sun crust. We did find good, knee deep snow on steep sheltered north faces. Did a big tour all around white pass. My advice, save your $1.70/L gas until it gets a full reset. Especially if you're climbing under your own power. No signs of any instability. Tried sled cutting many wind loaded mini features with no results.
