Felt warm with high humidity. Almost as though it was going to rain.

Snowpack

A thin melt freeze crust in the surface quickly dropped you through into a moist faceted snowpack. Snow hieght ranged from bare ground to 80cms. Besides the surface, one mfc at 20cm from surface remained, the rest of snowpack consisted facets graduating to depth hoar. Temperature throughout snowpack was 0 degrees C. Attempting to isolate a column resulted in a slow crumbling of said column. Switchback 1 and 2 paths are 70% melted out. 3 through 6 still hold some snow. Almost all banks are completely bare. Those that do hold snow, have little left.
