Snowpack
E Aspect @ 10,900 multiply snow pits showed similar results Basal facets bottom 50cm of snowpack, stronger midpack with a pencil hard layer, buried surface hoar found in all pits down around 29cm. Despite being about 4mm SH, there were no reactive test results on this layer. A burp test revealed a planar layer, yet no other tests produced results. We also set up a PST to test the layer, and had no propagation or failure. We seemed a bit puzzled by this. Test were all done same elevation and aspect : E - 10,900ft slightly tree'd CTH SC down 100 on willows CTH Q2 PP down 20 CTM Q3 down 30 CTH Q2 down 95 CTH Q2 down 20 CTH Q2 down 100 ECTX
