Weather

Few clouds in AM moving to Broken skies in afternoon. Temps were warmer today (-5c) Winds were moderate with strong gusts on north facing terrain at 10225 elevation; however, ridge tops seemed strong with intense blowing snow coming from the west. No new snow to report.

Snowpack

Overall our snpx tests, we observed, a rapid rate of settlement during our tour and found fresh powder stiffening since 24 hours ago. Also a lot of wind slabs found in the areas we toured in, especially on convex rolls. Overall we assessed our snpx tests showing us weak characteristics in the upper snowpack at the new/old interface composed of NSF. Our large column tests continued to have high propensity to propagate on the NSF.
