Weather

Wind actually all directions, but predominately west and southwest. Difficult to stand at the ridge. Mild temps NTL, but wind keeping snow surface a sticky dry. Cloud cover increased around 1 PM. Below ~ 11,000 feet snow became moist. Less cooling effect from wind.

Snowpack

Snow surface covered in pine needles when I left house. At 8 AM snow surface was dry. 20cm temperature was -3C. Near & above TL snow surface remained cool due to strong wind. At 1 PM below 11,000 feet snow surface became moist. Isothermal in open areas and isothermal and potentially rotten in the forest.
