Weather

Very warm today - the warmest so far. Previous nights temps dipped below freezing but not as cold and duration shrinking. Today only light winds and scattered to partly cloudy conditions - not enough cloud cover to reduce heating...

Snowpack

Different from yesterday - Seeing visibly droopy snowpack below treeline at pass levels. Distinctly more soggy. Tomorrow morning will need to watch temps/snowpack closely, esp below treeline where we could see an early rise in hazard on almost any aspect. This will be especially critical if we have cloud cover overnight - keeping temps mild and the snowpack too warm!
