Snowpack

Snowfall continued until 2 to 3 pm today.New snow measures 10 to 12 inch in below treeline areas, with larger amounts of snow above treeline. Overnight, southerly winds shifted from the south to the north. This wind drifted and built soft wind slabs 1 to 3 feet deep on west through north to east aspects near and above treeline. Recent cold temperatures have frozen the old snowpack. No avalanches stepping into lower layers were observed.
