Snowpack
The snowpack didn't undergo a deep freeze overnight, but was firm enough that we were only sinking in about 4 inches on the west-facing bootpack up. The north-facing terrain we rode was fully supportable and responded well to ski cuts. As we suspected it might with the recent warm temps, it had already fully softened up enough by 10am to make for great riding, proving that even an 11am descent may be too late these days.
