Weather

•Mostly clear and mild, with some gusts and windy at ridgelines. High clouds were developing. It felt warm outside but the snow wasn't softening much through the day.

Snowpack

•Snowpack is variable and mostly thin where there is cover. No signs of slide activity, but there were areas with re-frozen rollers and snow that had shed off the steeper areas and rocks. Variable crusts 1-2 inches thick have develped on the surface in many areas near and above treeline, supportable in some places and punchy and hollow/sugary in others. Many of the areas holding snow were about 2 feet deep, but in some of the higher chutes there were wind loaded convex rolls.
