Snowpack

Encountered lots of whoompfing, and cracking as we neared treeline as well as a natural at treeline (N, 2' crown, 100' wide, 150' vert). Tried to carefully retreat to the W, though we did set off some slides. Slides were running on the Oct snow, which generally seemed to only be an inch or 2 of facets.
