Avalanche
A natural avalanche occurred sometime between Tuesday and Thursday. It appeared to have triggered along some cliffs on the east facing side of the first bowl. The slide propagated in all directions at least 1-200 yards from the trigger point. It extended west around the rocks to a large open area and to the east into the northeast facing trees. This was a very large slide for this area. Well below treeline at approximately 10,300 feet elevation. I think the slide was triggered from heavy wind loading of the new snow.
