About 7:35 AM Feb 2 while driving to Mary Jane saw a large release occur on the obvious slide path on Engelmann peak just north of Empire. It appeared all the feeder gullies released and were flowing simultaneously before converging in the main channel. Powder cloud made it down into the small trees in the run out zone. Presumed it was natural. On the drive home in the afternoon crowns were visible at the top of the gullies but too far away to estimate depth.
