Ski Quality And Surface Hoar

I found excellent ski quality in the Mavericks zone. The skiing was boot top, silky smooth top to bottom. Lots of 4mm surface hoar growth below 8500 feet. Temperatures were inverted so where I wasn't seeing surface hoar down low I was finding NSFs. Heads up on low elevation terrain traps after this current storm. No signs of instability observed.
