Sunny,calm and relatively mild temps for such a cold start to the morning (single digit or negatives). Mid-day temps rose to 28-30 deg at pass level, but quickly cooled down as the sun dropped. Previous day's snowfall was generally a few inches of low density snow - another incremental, almost insignificant addition to the snowpack - and the end of a period of unsettled weather.
