Weather

Calm day with few clouds. About 3" new snow towards the top of Ripple Creek Pass. HS varied with elevation and aspect.

Snowpack

Soft, faceted snowpack from top to bottom. Not supportive at all. Although persistent weak layers exist throughout, there is no cohesive layer that would serve as a slab.
