Weather
High thin clouds covered most of the sky. Winds were calm of very light, temperatures warmed in the late afternoon.
Snowpack
There is little snow left on the pass. The south-facing slopes are completely bare. The north side of the pass is still holding snow, but only around 12". There are deeper drifts in wind-loaded areas, and others are scoured. The snowpack is highly variable, with facets, wind-board, and M/F crusts on the surface, and facets and melt-forms near the ground.
