Clear skies. Cold in the morning. Hot in areas without any breeze. Wx Station at 10,500 ft recorded a high of 41 degrees today.

Snowpack

Snow became wet today on all but north and northeast aspects. Small Loose Wet avalanches observed on southeast to south through west.---Light winds and no snow being transported today even at the highest ridgelines. Observations on small test slopes indicated smaller wind slabs unreactive.---Biggest issue is storm snow, measured at 18" settled, that sits on a weak faceted layer on top of a very hard old snow surface.
