Weather
Skies FEW>OVC>X all day (0900-1240). S1 on and off throughout the morning into the early afternoon. Winds light at ~12000' from the N-NW.
Snowpack
More easterly aspects, like on the unbearably steep skin track, revealed a melt/freeze crust under 5-10cm of new snow. No signs of slab formation at any elevation or aspect today, however, before riding the chutes from the summit we dug a quick pit and found large-grain facets(some minor amounts of very large grained facets) at 100cm down near some vegetation. Snowpack consistent F/4F throughout entire 100cm.
Avalanche
None observed.
