Weather

sunny initially then some clouds rolled through. No precip out of them though. Then cleared in afternoon.

Snowpack

The new snow on northerly aspects seems to be settling and bonding to old surface in most places. No reactivity with tests or ski cutting on steep rolls. Southerly terrain the new snow is either settled into old, firm surface or is only 5-10cm deep. There has been no notable warming of the surface on sunny aspects near and above TL and it remains quite firm. Below TL the new snow was getting warm and gloppy.

Avalanche

small slab avalanche that initiated more than halfway down the slope. Hard to say if it was due to warming on Monday or during the storm Sunday night. On a windward slope so...
