Cornice Failure and Avalanches

Yday I climbed Fay again. The central NF route had slid again, suspect cornice failure precious 48h. There are still several large chunks hanging. Clear night w a decent refreeze that lasted mid morning. The glacier has lost about 20cm in the past 48h. The W Ridge was frosty demanding crampons til after 9am.
