Snowpack

The snow depth is 42 inches at the NRCS Snowtel site about 1 mile below timberline. Snow pack is about 50% less than previous year, No new snow fall since Sunday March 27th. We had 5 inches Sunday Morning 27 march. Warm temp and windy in along the Sangre De Cristo range. Multiple thin layers at lower altitude but higher up north facing slopes and bowls contain significant snowpack. Higher elevations are wind blown and about 50% covered with light snow from previous week snowfall.
