Micro tour up to Long Lake and back to parking lot. Whumphing and minor cracking on both ascent and descent but no recent avalanche activity observed. Test profiles revealed 15-20 cms of loose, new snow resting on 4F snow above size 3-4 basal facets. CT results near the valley bottom were easy and somewhat irregular with the new snow and semi planar above the facets.
