Snowpack

Less snow from Sunday night's storm in these areas. 1-3", noticeably fluffier after some surface faceting last night. NW aspects were mostly stripped of new snow, with wind crusts or old facets at the surface. North and Northeast aspects had decent skiing, with no signs of instability on steep terrain except one skier cut 20' wide crack in the new snow on a windloaded slope. Still a strong midpack with a weaker base in pockets on these aspects. Observed a couple R1-D1.5 natural slides on NE aspects (Purple Mtn and Treasury Mtn) that probably failed early Monday.
