Weather

Very warm with calm winds. Warmest day of the season to date. Stream gauges also highest of the season to date.

Snowpack

So far, the snowpack is quietly melting. White snow/dust line is creeping up in elevation on shadier slopes- currently right around treeline, though many due north slopes remain mostly white. Sunny slopes (esp S and W) have very dirty surfaces or are simply melted away. Exponentially increasing melt rate due to ever-dustier surface. No new slide activity noted. Lots of water moving down ditches and drainages. Little to no skier traffic today (though there may have been some this AM).
