Matier Glacier

Triggered by a cornice fall in the afternoon after there had been several hours of sun exposure on the ice fall. I saw the avalanche from across the lake so I wasn't close enough to get a lot of the more detailed info about it. No people were close enough to be impacted but there were fresh skin tracks going up the slope from the morning and snowshoers were seen hiking up and sliding down the slope a couple hours prior to the slide.
