Felt like spring turning to summer

Snowpack

North aspects had 2 to 6 inches of last weeks new snow. Resting on the March dust layer. In the flats really noisy collapsing of that new snow down to the dust. Couple inch displacement. Cavernous cavities between the recent snow and the dust layer. Odd perk columns providing support it seems.

Avalanche

Several Wind Slab and Loose avalanches ran on Independence/Mountain Boy ridge (North) on east aspects during last storm cycle. Many ran on the dust layer. Several triggered by cornice fall
