Light easterly winds, did sound like they were increasing back at car at 3 PM. Stayed cool, just above freezing.
Snowpack
New snow was hot sticky powder, from 6 to 20 inches deep resting on old dust layer. I was getting moderate to rumbling collapse on SE aspects near treeline. The collapse was at the new snow-dust layer interface. I did not get this collapse on east aspects on the ascent.
