Snowpack
Our group noticed rapidly deteriorating surface snow conditions throughout the day. Poor bonding of new almost gropple like snow crystals. Sluffing was manageable but increasing in size throughout the day. Slab beneath was stable with no cracking below tree line but ridge tops were beginning to load rapidly with light winds. Our group noticed some settlement on flat ridge tops before our last run with glide cracks and obvious signs of touching wind slabs building fast!
