Weather

HN/W; 14"/1.05". Overcast skies and snowed all day. Periods of S2 snowfall. 3" additional at 1700.

Snowpack

No signs of any instability or fresh slab formation with ski tests NE at TL. Ski tests in steep Nerly terrain below TL produced numerous DLAScD1, several of which ran nearly full track. Moderate Nerly winds scoured exposed N facing starting zones. Brief periods of sun were enough to form thin MF crusts on sunny aspects that were then covered with several inches of new snow.

Avalanche

No fresh avalanche activity was observed with improving visibility in the late afternoon.
