Weather

Sunny, with furries. 8-10" of low density snow fell on Thursday morning. Previous storm was a week before, with sun in between the storms.

Snowpack

This area is prone to wind drifting from south to north, but little significant drifting from this storm. Only broke in the fresh snow layer. Very hard snow layer below the fresh snow in this location. New snow is low density.

Avalanche

The fracture occurred around 9am on Friday morning on a northern aspect above tree line at 11,300 ft.
