Weather
Partly cloudy, warm, and windy. Moderate snow transport with strong intermittent gusts. Snow began to fall and cloud cover increased as we got back to the car.
Snowpack
There was a layer of two crusts about 5-10 cm apart at 65 cm from the top of the snowpack. Snow was 240cm deep on the windloaded slope we investigated. Boot penetration was anywhere from a few cms in windscoured areas to knee deep in protected areas.
