Dream Dome, South/East aspect, 10,200ft, 30 degrees, 30mph+ wind gusts on the south side of Chaos Canyon around Hippy Trees, Calm in dream dome, winds calmed in the afternoon. partly cloudy in the morning, clear skies in the afternoon

Snowpack

Dream Dome, South/East aspect, 10,200ft, 33 degree slope. Snow pack depth 115cm, surface hoar at 19cm failed on first tap of "burp test," conducted two compression tests first failed at CT-Medium on facets at 41cm second failed at CT-Medium on a groppel layer at 91cm.

Avalanche

Dream Dome, South/East aspect, 10,200ft, 33 degree slope angle. We caused some slough on convex rolls that failed at a 19cm surface hoar layer. Other groups in the area reported naturally triggered avalanches on the North and South/East aspects in Upper Chaos Canyon. The north appeared to be wind slab that released and the SE looked to be triggered by snow falling from the cliffs above on Hallet peak.
