Weather

Warm day, started off snowing lightly and cloudy in morning. Cleared up around noon, sunshine was intense.

Snowpack

Scoured ridgeline, quickly transitioning to ~200 cm snow depths on west slopes near and below treeline. No near surface facets at the Jan 1 interface. Generally right side up snowpack, excepting rounding/hardening facets at the ground. No worrisome results in snowpack tests. N-NE facing slopes in Gondola bowl looked heavily wind-loaded.
