Weather
12/24 was partly cloudy with moderate to intense blowing snow coming out of the South. Once we got above treeline we were on a hard 1F - P breakable wind crust with small pockets of softer snow. Fun! Then on 12/25 at 11200' at the Green-Wilson hut, Santa brought us 6" inches of new snow with continued light snowfall (S1) and moderate to strong winds blowing out of the South. We didn't/wouldn't ski anything exposed, north facing, and/or steep, but did find really good snow in sheltered areas, and in the trees below tree line.
Snowpack
Snowpack is still very shallow in the Ashcroft zone, with many small trees/bushes exposed in areas that generally we ski right through.
